Young children are the most at risk for lead poisoning because they tend to put non-food items in their mouths. If children have lead poisoning, they won't look sick. Only a blood test will be able to determine if a child has lead poisoning. If you want more information or want to have your child tested, you can call the Onondaga County Health Department Lead Poisoning Control Program at 315-435-3271.
