Watertown woman charged with murder in stabbing death of boyfriend
Authorities say they've charged a 31-year-old Watertown woman in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend last weekend.
Police in Watertown tell local media outlets that Breanna Simpson was charged Tuesday with second-degree murder following the killing of 34-year-old Henry J. Perkins Jr.
Officials say Perkins was stabbed around 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the Watertown apartment he shared with Simpson.
Perkins had survived being stabbed by Simpson last September, when she cut his back with a kitchen knife during an argument. Simpson pleaded guilty to an assault charge and was sentenced to three years' probation and community service.
Simpson is being held in jail without bail. She's scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Watertown City Court. It couldn't immediately be determined if she had a lawyer.
