A Wayne County man died after an SUV crashed into his car at an intersection on Knickerbocker Road in the Town of Ontario.
State Police say 81-year-old Murray Thompson was air lifted to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died.
The crash happened around 6:50 p.m. Thursday night when 30-year-old Lindsay Schafer was driving her Ford Explorer on Knickerbocker Road and crashed into Thompson's Lincoln sedan at the intersection at Kenyon Road, according to State Police.
Knickerbocker Road doesn't have a stop sign at the intersection but Keynon Road does.
