Wegmans recalling sandwiches made at Onondaga Boulevard store

If you bought a sandwich from the Onondaga Boulevard Wegmans on Tuesday, listen up.
The grocery chain says it is recalling subs and wraps containing turkey that were made in the sub shop at their Onondaga Boulevard store, and that store only. They say the sandwiches may have been sold individually or in party trays. Wegmans says they received two reports of â??thin strands of flexible, clear plastic wrapâ?? found in subs made at that store, which they say is the result of the packaging not being properly removed from the turkey before it was sliced.
Wegmans says the recall doesnâ??t affect sandwiches made at any other store, and they say no one has reported any illness or injury due to this mishap.
If you purchased one of these products, Wegmans says you can visit the Onondaga Boulevard store for a full refund. Customers can also call the store at 315-478-3313 if you have any questions.
