Witness recounts the scene where Rian Rodriguez was taken into custody
NORTH SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Bob Wolfe, co-owner of the Piano & Organ Center on Lawrence Road East in North Syracuse, says the road was "lit up like a Christmas tree," after the heavy New York State Police presence responding to the missing Florida teen.
"The only time we ever see a policeman is when he stops someone for going through a red light or maybe speeding. And we see one police car, not five or six of them. I mean it was lit up like a Christmas tree."
Wolfe described the scene in North Syracuse, where State Police discovered the red Mercury occupied by Rian Rodriguez and 17-year-old Caitlyn Frisina, who was reported missing out of Florida.
"We saw a plain cop car and then a whole bunch of other cop cars come up, and then all of a sudden they pulled a guy out of the car, and put his face down and handcuffed him and put him in the car."
