TOWN OF ANNSVILLE, N.Y. —
An Oneida County woman is accused of raping a 12-year-old boy from Floyd in February, according to Chief Deputy Joseph Lisi of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
According to Lisi, 18-year-old Jean Marie Foster was arrested at her home in Taberg, a hamlet in the Town of Annsville, Tuesday after an investigation into the alleged rape of a Floyd boy earlier this year.
Foster is accused of raping the child while babysitting him in February, according to Lisi. She has been charged with first-degree Rape.
Foster was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $25,000 bail, according to Lisi.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are likely, according to Lisi. The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advoacy Center.
