Woman arrested for DWI with a child in the car

State Police arrested a woman in Oriskany Falls on Thursday for violating Leandraâ??s Law.
Police say 37 year-old Jaime Kilts was driving north on North Main Street around 3 p.m. when she lost control of her car and went off the side of the road, hitting the C.W. Clark Memorial library.
Police say further investigation into the accident revealed Kilts was driving under the influence of prescription medication with her two year-old infant son in the car.
Kilts is charged with aggravated driving while under the influence with a child, also known as Leandraâ??s Law, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated unlicensed operation in addition to other traffic violations.
She was arraigned in the Town of Augusta Court and sent to jail on $20,000 cash bail.
