Woman clocked at 107 mph on I-490 charged with DWI

State police say a 44-year-old woman was drunk behind the wheel late in the morning when she was clocked going more than 100 mph on a western New York highway.

Officials say a trooper patrolling Interstate 490 clocked the vehicle traveling at 107 mph at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Monroe County town of Riga, 15 miles southwest of Rochester.

Police say they've charged the driver, Melissa Hunter of Silver Springs in Wyoming County, with driving while intoxicated. Troopers say she had a blood-alcohol content of .18 percent, more than twice the legal limit.

She was released after being issued a ticket for DWI and ordered to appear in Riga Town Court at a later date.

It couldn't be determined if she had a lawyer.
