Woman stabbed on Steuben Street, assailant at large

A 22-year-old Syracuse woman was stabbed three times after an argument at about 12:45 Saturday afternoon at 146 Steuben Street. Syracuse Police are still looking for the suspect, who they say stabbed 22-year-old Porshi Simmons in the left arm three times after an argument with another woman at her boyfriendâ??s brotherâ??s house. Police say Simmons found her boyfriend with the female suspect.
Officers say the Simmons was unconscious when they arrived on the scene.
First responders were able to revive Simmons, who was taken to Upstate Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not life threatening, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are still looking for the suspect.
