Two Seneca Falls women are accused of leaving three young children alone at a business while they were sleeping.
26-year-old Michelle Thomas and 27-year-old Nicole Lonthair, of 13 Miller Street, are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Seneca Falls police were called to the parking lot of a local business around 6:45 p.m. Thursday where three young children were standing near traffic.
Police say the kids, ages 5, 6 and 8, were at the business without supervision. They were taken back to their home, where police say, Thomas and Lonthair were sleeping.
The two women were arrested and later released on appearance tickets.
No word yet on the relationship between the women and the children.
They are scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Court on August 25th.
