Body Of Web Story:
Good morning! Here is a look at your forecast at the bus stop this morning:
: 28-37° for most of central New York.
Wind chills: 24-30° for most of central New York.
Sky condition & precipitation
: Some light freezing rain and light snow is over our area. Check out Interactive Doppler Radar and Triple Doppler Radar.
What should I wear outside?: A winter jacket will be necessary. Of course, it is ultimately your decision on what you think you and your children should wear.
Any notable driving condition issues?: A combination of freezing fog, leftover moisture from last night, and an extremely shallow sub-freezing layer of air on the ground has caused precipitation falling across CNY to either be in the form of freezing rain or some snow in our area. This has caused numerous accident across a good chunk of CNY. Please drive carefully this morning. During this afternoon skies should be mostly cloudy and roads should improve.
Special concerns: See above
Afternoon ride home on the bus: Temperatures will be between 35 to 39°. Wind chill: 27 to 35°. Considerable cloudiness will continue. There is a chance for peeks of sun. Wind will be W 5-15 MPH. The sun will set at 4:55pm.
