Good morning! Here is a look at your forecast at the bus stop this morning:
Temperatures : 60-65 for most of CNY.
Wind chills : None
Sky condition & precipitation : Most areas will likely be dry at the bus stop. There is only a sprinkle over eastern areas. Elsewhere, as of early this morning, I am monitoring a line of heavier rain showers with imbedded lightning strikes and thunder over western NY. This is moving eastbound at about 20 MPH. While this line will probably weaken, it will bring an opportunity for some rain and perhaps some imbedded thunder by around 9am over the western Finger Lakes and then the I-81 corridor towards 11am. You can see where it is right now by checking out Interactive Doppler Radar and Triple Doppler Radar. Otherwise, expect clouds with breaks of sunshine from time to time alongside muggy conditions.
What should I wear outside ?: No jacket is necessary this morning. Of course, it is ultimately your decision on what you think you and your children should wear.
Any notable driving conditions ?: Some roads are damp this morning.
Special concerns : None.
Afternoon ride home on the bus : Clouds and some sunshine. I cannot rule out a scattered shower or thunderstorm over parts of CNY (but not everywhere). Quite warm. Temperatures will range between 76 and 82 for most of CNY. Wind: SE/S 10-15 MPH. The sun will set at 8:19pm.
