Your bus stop forecast for May 22
Thu, 22 May 2014 09:34:47 GMT —
Good morning! Here is a look at your forecast at the bus stop this morning:
: 54 to 60° across most of our area.
Sky condition & precipitation
: There are some showers and thunderstorms over portions of NY state. Showers and thunderstorms are most concentrated early this morning over northern NY and over the western Finger Lakes region. Rain cells are moving roughly east-southeasterly. You can see where it is right now by checking out Interactive Doppler Radar and Triple Doppler Radar. Otherwise, there are some spots of partially clear skies where there are not any showers.
What should I wear outside
?: Temperatures are fairly comfortable this morning. Therefore, you may not need a jacket. However, letâ??s keep an umbrella handy as scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible a couple of times today. Of course, it is ultimately your decision on what you think you and your children should wear.
Any notable driving conditions
?: None while dry. However, inside any heavier rain showers or thundershowers, wet roads will occur with a risk for hydroplaning in downpours.
Afternoon ride home on the bus
: Once again, like yesterday, there will be some areas that have scattered showers and thundershowers moving through while others will not have any rain at times. Keep an eye on Interactive and Triple Doppler radar with the links below to see where they are and where they are moving to. Clouds will mix with some breaks of sunshine. Wind: NW 10-15 MPH. The sun will set at 8:28pm.
