There is a range of temperatures this morning. Across the Finger Lakes, southern tier, and areas just south of Syracuse and the Route 5 corridor will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s early this morning. From Syracuse and points northeast, temperatures are mainly between 20 and 26. However, numbers are in the Teens across the North Country. Temperatures should rise through the 20s and into the lower to middle 30s by 11 AM for most of CNY.
Morning wind chills:
Real feel numbers will be in the Teens rising into the 20s.
Morning sky condition & precipitation:
Skies should be overcast. There will be some spotty flurries or drizzle here and there this morning. There is a higher chance for slightly steadier light rain and elevation steadier light snow late this morning and into the lunch hour. Skies will remain overcast with periods of light rain and higher elevation wet snow. Most of our area will receive no accumulation. The best chance for any accumulation will be over the Adirondacks and the Tug Hill Plateau. Temperatures should rise to between 35 and 40 for of our area. This is close to normal and the first time we have been at these levels in 12 days. Normal high for Syracuse today is 35 degrees. Wind: S 5-12 MPH. Wind chills will be about 30.
