Good morning! Here is a look at your forecast at the bus stop this morning:
Temperatures: 60-67° for most of central New York.
Wind chills: None
Sky condition & precipitation: Windy with occasional showers.
What should I wear outside?: A fall jacket may be necessary, although temperatures are unusually warm for this time of year. An umbrella will be needed at times this morning but not this afternoon. The wind may blow the umbrella inside-out. Of course, it is ultimately your decision on what you think you and your children should wear.
Any notable driving condition issues?: Strong winds will be found region-wide. High profile vehicles will be especially affected. Roads are wet. Lots of leaves have fallen. Wet leaves are especially slippery.
Special concerns: A high wind warning is in effect for much of CNY with a wind advisory for the central and southern tier. Winds will frequently gust to 30-40 MPH over the entire area. Maximum wind gusts of 50 MPH appears likely in the high wind warning area with the potential for 60 MPH wind gusts in some isolated spots.
