WakeUpForecast_1200x750.jpg

Good morning! Here is a look at your forecast at the bus stop:

Morning temperatures at the bus stop:
Temperatures will be between 20 and 27 through 8 AM for most of our area. These readings are the coldest we have seen since the end of March. Numbers will rise into the upper 30s to lower 40s by 11 AM.

Morning wind chills:
Real feel numbers will be the same as the temperatures.

Morning sky condition & precipitation:
Most of our area should have clear sky and plenty of sunshine once the sun rises at 6:48 AM. However, directly east of Lake Ontario there will be a blanket of lake effect cloud coverage and a risk for flurries. The cloud line could get as far south as around the Route 31 corridor or so. To see any precipitation, click on Interactive Doppler Radar to zoom in anywhere and on Live Triple Doppler Radar to see where it is raining right now.

What should I wear outside?:
You and your kids should wear a heavier coat today. It is your decision on what you and your children should wear.

Any notable driving conditions today?:
None.

Afternoon ride home on the bus:
Sunny sky should continue across much of central New York. Lingering lake effect clouds east of Lake Ontario will try and mix with some intervals of sunshine across the North Country. Slightly below normal temperatures will occur this afternoon. High temperatures should rise to between 44 and 48. Normal high for Syracuse today is 52 degrees. Wind: Variable 0-5 MPH. To see any precipitation, click on Interactive Doppler Radar to zoom in anywhere and on Live Triple Doppler Radar to see where it is raining.
