Any notable driving condition issues?: Syracuse roads are dry as of early this morning. Localized south facing hilltowns have received accumulations already. A new area of steadier snow will move in late this morning through early this afternoon and bring a burst of steadier snow

. Gusty winds have been noted with gusts of 30-40 mph likely.

Special concerns: Watch for localized bursts of snow late this morning through early this afternoon. While the amount of snow localized should not be overwhelming, watch for hazardous driving conditions for areas that receive this.

Afternoon plans: Temperatures will be near 31-35° in CNY. Winds will be S to SW to W 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chills will be between 17 and 25°. Mostly cloudy with leftover snow showers tapering off later. Sunset is 5:40 PM.
