Temperatures: 51-56° for most of central New York, 49-54° for some rural areas outside of Onondaga County. It is a bit breezy in places.

Sky condition & precipitation: Overcast to start the day with periods of rain or rain showers slowly tapering some. Much of this rain will be light and drizzly.

Any notable driving condition issues: Wet roadways are present in places, expect a slower commute.

Special concerns: No severe weather today, but localized rain and rain showers will make for differences in the weather throughout the area.

Afternoon plans: Skies will become partly sunny by late afternoon. Scattered light showers will move to east of Lake Ontario by late day as well, so most areas dry out. It remains a bit breezy and cool today with highs in the upper 60s.
