Good morning! Here is a look at your wake up forecast this morning:
Wind chills: 22-30°
Sky condition & precipitation: Overcast with occasional light snow, drizzle, spotty sleet/freezing drizzle.
Any notable driving condition issues?: Most of the immediate CNY area is just wet. However, there may be a few isolated pockets of slippery conditions in CNY where the temperature is hovering near 32°. The further north, northwest and west you go within central New York, especially towards Lake Ontario, western NY and the far North Country, the worse the road and driving condition due to extra snowfall overnight versus more rain.
Special concerns: See above.
Afternoon plans: Temperatures will be in the 30-34° range. A spray of snow showers will be increasing across central New York through the mid to late afternoon. As temperatures approach and dip below 32° late this afternoon and through sunset, untreated roads will become snow covered and icy.
