"American Hustle" and "12 Years a Slave" win big at Golden Globes

Hollywood's biggest party started out not so glamorously. A
rogue water sprinkler threatened the globes red carpet early on,
but failed to dampen dresses or spirits.

The con-artist caper "American Hustle" is looking like the Oscar front-runner. It won the best picture for a comedy or musical and acting awards for Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence at Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards.

The award for best movie drama went to "12 Years a Slave." The Hollywood Foreign Press Association also honored "Breaking Bad" as television's best drama.

The TV series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" has won best television comedy at this year's Golden Globe awards. And the show's Andy Samberg won best comic actor.
