An Alpena, Michigan man is facing sodomy and bestiality charges after incidents involving the family dog, according to WPBN.
Michigan State Police arrested the 68-year-old man following an investigation that started earlier in May.
Investigators say the man sexually assaulted the family dog on at least two occasions.
The suspect is out on bond. His name will be released when he is formally charged, which is scheduled for June 11.
If convicted, the suspect could face up to 15 years in prison. He could also be placed on the Sex Offender Registry.
