May is mental health month....some thoughts on fitness in both mind and body that will make for a happier and longer life

May is Mental Health Month, and this year Onondaga County's theme is Fitness #4Mind4Body.

Adult and Long Term Care Services Commissioner Lisa Alford tells us that making small changes, both mentally and physically, will create 'huge gains' for overall health.

Some areas for improvement:
>Eating healthy foods
>Managing stress
>Exercising
>Getting enough sleep
