Preliminaries for the National Spelling Bee...we will be watching Onondaga Hill Middle School 8th grader Brian Kenny, number 331, who represents the Syracuse area.

and overnight Tuesday,or sometime this week...690 will open its new westbound lanes and ramps in the Teall Vvenue area...and start work on the eastbound lanes.

More road construction on Allen Road in Clay between West Taft and Bear, it'll last til the end of construction season.

Wednesday, a senior health and fitness fair at Drivers Village in Cicero 9:30 to one.

Wednesday is the traditional Memorial Day, with evening parades in Baldwinsville and in Waterloo

Thursday, Minoa's Firemens Field Days get underway in Lewis Park...til Saturday.

at NBY Bank Stadium, the Chiefs wear special jerseys for Brannock Device Day, celebrating Central New York's contribution to foot size measuring.

Friday, Taste of Syracuse in Syracuse's Clinton Square. one dollar samples and more, thru Saturday.

Ithaca Festival also gets underway, thru Sunday...

Friday is the voter signup deadline for the June 26th primary.

The Red House theatre complex in downtown Syracuse has its official grand opening Friday evening.

and in Skaneateles, a cruise boat open house, celebrating Mid-Lakes Navigation's fiftieth anniversary. it's at Clift Park, everyone's welcome.
