Toyota High School Athlete: Bishop Ludden's Danielle Rauch
Danielle Rauch is a coach's dream at point guard.
Still just a junior, she's already playing her 4th year of varsity for Bishop Ludden.
Watch her for a minute, and you'll see why.
Rauch has a myriad of moves that you'll rarely see at the high school level. A silky-smooth guard that can do it all.
Colleges are taking notice.
Rauch has a couple offers already, and is hearing from more coaches. That's not counting what's to come as her signing day looms in the fall of 2017.
For now, Rauch is focused on one thing.
Winning at Bishop Ludden.
The Gaelic Knights have just one loss so far on the season, that was to Cardinal O'Hara out of Buffalo.
Meanwhile, Rauch is leading Section III in assists.
Ludden is currently ranked #1 in the local media polls, but that's not what matters for now.
If they're in that spot at the end of March, they'll be satisfied.
Congratulations to Danielle Rauch, our Toyota High School Athlete of the Week.
