Toyota High School Athlete- Homer's Joey Esposito
Joey Esposito is described as one of the "founding fathers" of Homer's Bowling team by his head coach Robert Nasiatka.
That's because the bowling program is only in its 7th season and Esposito has been on the team for five of them.
Joey even cites remembering the school board considering adding the sport, and it's a good thing that they did.
This year, Esposito continues to show why he's been in the game so long, he's boasting a 218 average and compiled a 745 series in a match on Tuesday night.
Equally as impressive is just how well this fledgling program is performing.
The Trojans are back to back champions in Class B, hoping that 2017 provides a third straight title.
With Joey Esposito leading the way, it sounds like a solid bet.
Joey is just as dynamic in the classroom, where's he's already been accepted to several prestigious schools including Ohio State.
