Throughout the week, we told you about Lawrence Moten's excitement for his jersey retirement.

Saturday, that day arrived.

At halftime of Syracuse's 55-52 win over #18 Clemson, the Orange raised Moten's #21 to the rafters in a moment the 28,670 fans at the Carrier Dome won't soon forget.

Moten is the all-time leading scorer in Syracuse and Big East history, impressive considering the mark has stood 23 years now.

Moten is back in the Syracuse area now working now with kids in the city. The Washington D.C. native never truly left Central New York after his time on the SU Hill was over.

Moten played three years in the NBA with the Vancouver Grizzlies and Washington Wizards.
