Trevor Cooney makes Syracuse history.
No, we're not talking about his career high 27 points on Friday night against Cornell.
Rather, Cooney is the ACC Player of the Week for those efforts, the first ever Syracuse Orange basketball player to receive such an honor.
Jim Boeheim said Cooney "saved" the Orange in its game against Cornell. Syracuse was floundering, down by a dozen to the Big Red when Trevor connected for two big three pointers to cut the deficit in half.
Syracuse is next in action Tuesday night, when it hosts Fordham at the Carrier Dome.
