If you type in "Syracuse Football" on YouTube, you're bound to find some historical gems.
I did just that the other day and came across the fun video you see here.
In 1991, #10 Syracuse Football had just come off clobbering #5 Florida (yes, the Gators) in the Carrier Dome 38-21.
By the way, Florida has not played a northern team on the road since their dismantling in the Loud House.
At any rate, Syracuse was 4-0 in its final season before joining the Big East and headed down to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles, the #1 team in America.
The video linked here is from YouTube user Stephen Barrett, who is apparently a big fan of Florida State.
It's the first half of that contest, which saw the Orange score after just two plays on its first drive (a flea flicker pass to Qadry Ismail) and eventually go into halftime trailing just 17-14.
Eventually the Seminoles won 46-14. (If you want the second half of the video, it's on Barrett's page linked above)
The 2014 Orange season kicks off on August 29 against Villanova in the Carrier Dome. Florida State comes calling on October 11.
