Highly touted running back commits to Syracuse Football
The nature of the beast in high school recruiting, often times news breaks via Twitter.
Jawhar Jordan, Jr. commits to Syracuse Football and Head Coach Dino Babers with a tweet containing a picture of a statement regarding his commitment.
He's the 8th commit for the Class of 2018 for the Orange, adding to what's shaping up to be a high-end group.
Jawhar lives in Chandler, Arizona but is originally from Long Island.
CuseNation.com reports he chose Syracuse over offers from Arizona, Fresno State, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, Missouri and Kansas among other FBS schools.
He's rated as the #1 running back in Arizona and #6 in the entire "West" region, according to Scout.
Jordan joins Akeem Dixon as backs committed to the Orange, but they certainly compliment each other.
Jawhar is 5'10" 160 lbs with lightning speed while Dixon is 6'1" 230 lbs and seemingly impossible to tackle.
Syracuse Football kicks off its season in exactly 100 days against Central Connecticut State.
