DaJuan Coleman may have announced a few weeks ago that he would be attending Syracuse University to play basketball, but that announcement was made official on Wednesday.

Coleman signed his National Letter of Intent alongside three other Jamesville-DeWitt student-athletes. One of those three student-athletes was Tyler Cavanaugh, a 6'8" basketball swingman who was recruited by the Orange but ultimately signed with Wake Forest of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Cavanaugh's decision not only sets up some interesting future ACC clashes with Coleman and the Orange taking on Cavanaugh and the Demon Deacons, but it certainly marks a historic occasion for Jamesville-DeWitt basketball.

"I'm just blessed to have maybe two of the best players in Central New York - ever - playing for me right now" said Red Rams Head Coach Bob McKenney.

Just as impressively, lacrosse player Deke Burns signed to play for Harvard of the Ivy League and Taylor Bierwagen also signed to play women's lacrosse at Grand Valley State.
