SU basketball's loss in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament was difficult on the entire team, but Arinze Onuaku was arguably the most frustrated of the bunch.
Arinze was, of course, unable to contribute because of a quadriceps injury, something Anuaku is now hoping to fix for the remainder of his basketball career. According to teammate Scoop Jardine, Onuaku is slated for surgery on Thursday, what will be the third surgery on his knees.
Onuaku had already had surgery on his right and left knee prior to falling awkwardly against Georgetown at the Big East Tournament, what was ultimately his final play as a member of the Orange.
Scoop's Wednesday night Tweet reads ... "Getting a mani and pedi at the mall with A.O. Big fella gets surgery tomorrow.. pray for him. great person and teammate."
