SU Softball's Sydney O'Hara finalist for college softball's top award
Sydney O'Hara is having a special season for Syracuse Softball.
The C-NS grad is proving she can do it all, leading the nation with a whopping .480 batting average and .629 on base percentage.
On top of her hitting prowess, Sydney is 2nd nationally in saves with 6 and averaging 12 strikeouts per 7 innings/game.
On Wednesday, O'Hara was officially named as one of 10 finalists for the USA Softball Player of the Year Award.
The list of ten finalists will be cut down to just three on May 24.
The winner will be announced at the College Softball World Series on May 30.
