A programming note for fans of Syracuse Orange basketball and NBCâ??s â??The Biggest Loserâ?? and â??Chicago Fireâ??.

The Orange travel to Blacksburgh, Virginia Tuesday night to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies in SUâ??s first road game against an ACC opponent. The game s scheduled to tip off at 9:00 p.m. and will air live on CNY Centralâ??s WSTM NBC3 in the Syracuse viewing area.

SU is now 14-0 on the season and 1-0 in the ACC after defeating Miami 49-44 on Saturday afternoon. Senior forward C.J. Fair led all scorers with 15 points and added 6 rebounds, while junior center Rakeem Christmas pitched in 8 points and 7 rebounds.

Virginia Tech is led by senior forward Jarell Eddie with averages of 17.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 13 games for the 8-5 Hokies, who have not played since defeating Maryland-Eastern Shore on December 31. They have yet to play an ACC game this season.

Because of the basketball game, regular Tuesday night programming on NBC3 will be interrupted. The first hour of â??The Biggest Loserâ?? will air from 8:00 â?? 9:00 p.m. Then, the Syracuse-Virginia Tech game will air from 9:00 â?? 11:00 p.m., leading into NBC3 News at 11:00.

The second hour of â??The Biggest Loserâ?? will be shown on WSTQ CW6 on Saturday, January 11 at 8:00 p.m. â??Chicago Fireâ?? will follow at 9:00 p.m. on the same channel.

Attention DVR enthusiasts: As of publication of this article Monday morning, the Time Warner Cable guide for NBC3 Tuesday night is correct. However, it is incorrect for CW6 Saturday night. We are working to get that fixed.
