The Hall of Fame coach was reflective on his time with Team USA, as he told our Niko Tamurian that he's going out on top with a gold medal in his final go-round at the Olympics.
Coach Boeheim as an assistant, help lead the red, white, and blue back from depths of a disappointing showing in Athens in 2004 and at the 2006 World Championships.
Boeheim says he's been "priveleged" to see the world as a member of Team USA, and also picking up some teaching points to bring back to Syracuse. He also points to SU's record over the last three years and while he absolutely credits his talented players, says the lessons learned from Team USA certainly hasn't hurt at all.
