CBS's Seth Davis wears orange wig after SU beats Montana

After Syracuse was seeded 4th in the NCAA Tournament and matched up with 13th seed University of Montana Sunday evening, CBS's Seth Davis went on CBSâ??s selection show and said he thought the Grizzlies would beat the Orange Thursday night in San Jose.

Along with numerous Orange fans, local morning radio hosts â??Gomez and Daveâ?? of TK99 took issue with Davisâ?? prediction. They arranged for him to be on their show earlier this week and made a bet with him that he had to wear an orange wig and wave an SU pennant if the Orange prevailed.

In case you missed it due to the approximately 10:40 p.m. tipoff time, SU won in a laugher, 81-34. The game was never in doubt. In fact, it was the fewest points SU has ever allowed in an NCAA Tournament game.

True to his word, Davis appeared on the post-game show and made good on his bet. He donned an orange wig, held up a pennant, and asked SU fans â??Are you not entertained?â?? in a callback to the Russell Crowe â??Gladiatorâ?? film from 2000.

In case youâ??re wondering, Gomez and Dave had wagered that they would have to jump in a freezing Central New York lake if Montana won. With a high of only 35 degrees forecast for Friday, theyâ??re probably happy SU won for more than one reason.
