Chiefs lose series finale to PawSox, fall 8 back of Wild Card

The Syracuse Chiefs went out in their five game series with the Pawtucket Red Sox with a whimper, losing 7-1 Sunday afternoon.

The only run for the Chiefs came in the third inning when a passed ball allowed Eury Perez to score from third. Ryan Tatusko took the loss, his sixth while Steven Wright picked up his sixth win with the PawSox.

The Chiefs fall to 56-66 on the season, nine and a half games back in the North Division of the International League and eight games back in the Wild Card.

They travel to Buffalo for a three game series with the Bison starting with a doubleheader tomorrow. Yunesky Maya gets the start tomorrow against Buffaloâ??s Ricky Romero in game one. Danny Rosenbaum gets the start for the Chiefs in game two tomorrow against Todd Redmond. Game time for game one is set for 5:30pm.
