One month ago, the Syracuse Crunch was reeling.
But since the signing of Jon DiSalvatore on December 16th, the tables have turned for the better.
DiSalvatore instantly provided a spark for the Syracuse Crunch on the wing, not just scoring goals but making everyone on his line better.
The perfect example of that, is Brett Connolly. The 21-year old blue chip prospect had 2 goals in the 15 games prior to DiSalvatore's arrival.
Since Jon has donned the Crunch uniform, the Connolly has scored 7 goals in his last 10 outings.
"Ever since he's gotten here we've had great chemistry. He's a smart player and he's been around the league for a long time" says Connolly.
For DiSalvatore, playing for his 11th team, he's just excited to be here in Syracuse helping the Crunch and its young prospects.
"Since we've been here in Syracuse we couldn't be happier about the reception that we've got and the group of guys that we're around" DiSalvatore says.
