Close up with the Crunch- Movember Moustaches raise money to fight Prostate Cancer

The term "Movember" has become synonymous in recent years with the battle to raise awareness of the dangerous diseases that affect many men, including prostate cancer.

This year, the Syracuse Crunch is taking that to a whole new level.

The entire team will be "growing" moustaches, in an effort to raise awareness for the cause.

But there's more.

Crunch stars Eric Neilson and Joey Mormina held a draft, dividing up the Crunch roster and forming their own teams.

Neilson's "M&M Boys" vs. Mormina's "Mo's Bros"

The idea is simple, at every home Crunch game fans can vote for which team they expect to win. In order to vote, you must pay a small fee which is directly donated to the Upstate Cancer Center.

The Crunch will post progress reports with pictures of the players to help with the selection process.

We have a special treat for you though, click the video player to watch the Crunch's draft!

Syracuse is back at the War Memorial next Friday (November 15) against Wilkes-Barre Scranton.
