Crunch helps Toys for Tots, looks to improve on the ice too

As the Syracuse Crunch spent part of Tuesday afternoon scouring Herb Phillipson's in Liverpool looking for perfect toys for the Toys for Tots program, the team took a moment to reflect on the season.

Rick Schofield, Nicholas Des Champs, and Kyle Cumiskey represented the squad for Tuesday's event, filling two shopping carts with all sorts of toys, many of which, of course were sporting goods.

The team though says they hope to improve on their start to the year, which is still above .500, and hopes to be in a theoretical playoff spot by the start of 2012.
