Crunch snaps losing streak with 4-2 win over St. John's

The second half of November has not been pretty for the Syracuse Crunch. However, after losing four straight games, the Crunch was able to grind out a 4-2 victory over the St. Johnâ??s Ice Caps Friday night.

After getting off to a quick start with goals from Ray Kuanisto in the first period and Geoff Walker in the second, the Crunch surrendered two goals to the Ice Caps in the second period.

In the waning minutes in the third period, Cedric Paquette was able to score the go-ahead third goal for the Crunch. Danick Gauthier scored an empty net goal in the final seconds to complete the Crunch victory.

Cedric Desjardins had 26 saves in net for the Crunch.

The Crunch will travel to Glens Falls Saturday night for a match up against the Adirondack Phantoms. Puck drop is scheduled for 7pm.
