Just go ahead and call them the Syracuse Giants.
For the third time in two NFL drafts, the New York Giants have selected a former Syracuse Orange player.
Jay Bromley is drafted by the Giants with the 10th pick of the 3rd round. He is the first Syracuse player chosen in the 2014 draft.
Bromley played significant snaps in all of his four seasons on the SU hill and was a menace in his senior season with 14.5 tackles for loss.
Of course, Bromley will have some friends as teammates, Ryan Nassib and Justin Pugh were selected by New York last season.
The Giants are coached by SU alum Tom Coughlin.
It's also a homecoming of sorts for Bromley. He's from Jamaica, NY and graduated from Flushing High School.
