Jimmy Fallon roots for Rakeem Christmas and the Orange in the NCAA Tournament

Jimmy Fallon continues to root for the Orange on NBCâ??s "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

On Monday night, Fallon gave a shout out to Syracuse University and the Orange after they defeated Marquette in the Elite 8 on Saturday.

"Syracuse is playing the best basketball theyâ??ve played all season, and I gotta give a shout out to Michael Carter-Williams, C. J. Fair and my man Rakeem Christmas," said Fallon. "This is a real dudeâ??s name. His last name is Christmas, and guess what number he is? 25. It is fantastic."

In honor or the Orange, Fallon gave away a bowl of fresh oranges to an audience member sitting in seat 55 â?? the number of points the Orange scored against Marquette.

After the Orangeâ??s defeat over Marquette, Fallon tweeted "congrats" to SU and Christmas.

Last week, Fallon first told his viewers that he loves Christmasâ?? name and his number. He said he is rooting for the Syracuse Orange in this yearâ??s NCAA Tournament and asked them to get into the "Christmas Spirit." (
