Late rally falls short, Syracuse Crunch drop home tilt to Binghamton Senators

The Syracuse Crunch dropped a tightly-contested contest to the Binghamton Senators on Friday night, 3-2.

The Syracuse Crunch are not one point behind the Albany Devils.

However, the home town hockey team still holds down the top spot in the AHL's North Division standings.

The Crunch trailed the Binghamton Senators late in the second period, but worked their way back into the game, scoring a pair of unanswered goals to tie it up at 2-2.

But in the end, the Senators scored late, winning, 3-2.
