Le Moyne Mens Lacrosse bounced from Northeast 10 Tournament

The Le Moyne menâ??s lacrosse team let one slip away as Merrimack scores two goals in the final minutes of the Northeast-10 semifinals winning by the score 11-10.

A matchup that stayed close all game long, as no team saw more than a two goal advantage after Lemoyne jumped out to a 3-0 lead, came down to the final seconds. Merrimackâ??s Tucker Schwarz ripped one in the top right corner of the net giving the warriors the lead with only 6 seconds remaining.

The Dolphins were led by sophomore attacker Mike Jenkins who scored four goals. Le Moyne also got big production from Andrew Chadderdon who had three goals of his own and added one assist but both performances would not be enough to overcome the late game heroics of the Warriors.

Merrimack will play in the finals on Sunday awaiting the winner of this afternoon's game between Bentley and Adelphi. Winner of the Northeast-10 finals will receive and automatic birth in the NCAA tournament.

Le Moyne, who falls to 13-2 on the year, now has to play the waiting game as NCAA tournament selections will be announced Sunday.
