Murray joins elite company as #1 Syracuse women's lacrosse beats Notre Dame, ACC Tournament field set

The #1 Syracuse women's lacrosse team (15-1) beat Notre Dame (9-7) 18-10 in South Bend, Ind. on Saturday. The Orange clinched a share of the ACC regular season title with the win, and is the 2-seed for the ACC Tournament. SU will play 7-seed Notre Dame at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Boston College.

The game also featured an individual milestone for SU senior Alyssa Murray. Murray had three goals and two assists, her second goal of the game was the 200th in her career.

Murray is the 2nd player in program history with 300 points, 200 goals and 100 assists in her career. SU assistant coach Kaite Rowan is the other SU player on that list.
