OCC men's lacrosse wins 5th NJCAA title in a row, sets winning streak record

The OCC men's lacrosse team won their 5th NJCAA title in a row on Sunday afternoon, defeating Nassau Community College 15-11.

The victory was also OCC's 70th in a row, the longest streak at any level of college lacrosse.

Sophomore Jordan Saunderson tallied six goals and an assist en route to being named the best offensive player in the championship game. OCC goaltender Warren Hill was named the best defensive player.

OCC finishes the season with an 18-0 record.

The OCC women also took part in the NJCAA semifinals, but failed to make it to the National Championship, losing to Anne Arundel CC (Md.) on Saturday 12-10. The OCC women finished with a 12-3 record.
