Orange senior quarterback Ryan Nassib continues to be recognized for his record-breaking game against Northwestern in week one, now being named a Manning Award Star of the Week, an award sponsored by the All State Sugar Bowl. Nassib is one of nine quarterbacks that have been named a Star of the Week by the Manning Award, and fans can now vote for him to win the award. Earlier this week Nassib was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for an impressive performance, setting the Orange single-game records for completions with 45, attempts with 66, and yards finishing with 482 total. Nassib set the BIG EAST single-game pass attempts record and tied the conference completion record. Nassib contributed to 512 yards out of Syracuse's 596 yards of total offense against the Wildcats and threw for four touchdowns.
