SU lacrosse bounces back, Cornell laxers upset Virginia

The #11 SU men's lacrosse team (3-2) beat St. John's 14-8 in the first-ever Cobb County Lacrosse Classic in Atlanta, Georgia. Meanwhile, the #15 Cornell men's lacrosse team (5-0) upset #2 Virginia 12-9 on Saturday afternoon in Ithaca.

SU was led by Kevin Rice, a Skaneateles grad, who posted his second eight-point game of the season with four goals (career-high) and four assists. Dylan Donahue had a hat trick of his own in the win.

Cornell trailed Virginia 5-2 at one point, but then rattled off nine consecutive goals in less than 13 minutes. At that point the damage was done, and the Cavaliers never recovered as the Big Red won 12-9.
