The Syracuse Orange football team is getting back on the field for the first time since their dramatic Pinstripe Bowl victory over Kansas State.
The first practice will be held Tuesday, March 8th from 4:20-6:40 at Manley Field House . The practice is inside due to the inclement weather.
The Orange heads into the season with plenty of positions to fill.
SU will begin finding replacements for All-Big East linebackers Doug Hogue and Derrell Smith.
Perhaps an even more pressing need is at running back. Delone Carter left the school as the program's fourth leading rusher all-time.
The first step of the 2011 season begins Tuesday.
Here's the practice schedule and information for fans who want to attend Spring ball:
All practices will be at Schwartzwalder-Katz Fields off of East Colvin Street unless otherwise noted.
