The SU women's lacrosse team advanced to the Final Four for the second straight season on Saturday afternoon with a 13-9 victory over Florida in the Carrier Dome.
It was tied 4-4 at the half, but freshman Kayla Treanor came out firing, scoring two quick goals to give the Orange the edge that they would never relinquish. Treanor started a 7-2 second half scoring run, capped off by a Devon Collins goal to put the game out of reach.
Treanor led Syracuse with four points, three goals and one assist.
Syracuse will face Maryland in the Final Four on Friday, May 24 at 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. in Villanova, PA.
